Sophiya Khwaja is a visual artist based in the UAE with a background in printmaking. She works predominantly in drawing and mixed media on paper.

Sophiya’s work unpacks the self, examining it through the internal and external landscapes formed by both its shape and its thought.

Sophiya is a Fulbright Fellow and a founder of SoZa, a visual artist collective based in the UAE.
